Jewish cemetery Gau-Odernheim

The Jewish Cemetery Gau-Odernheim is located on the first hill to the Petersberg between the two local communities of Gau-Odernheim and Bechtolsheim in Rhineland-Palatinate, the so-called Scharlenberg, in the Gau-Odernheim area. The Jewish cemetery, which was established in 1848 and covers an area of 10.8 acres, is located north of the village on Bechtolsheimer Weg; it is a protected cultural monument. The cemetery is not open to the public, it can only be visited by appointment at the town hall of the local community of Gau-Odernheim or during guided tours of the historical society.
