Jewish cemetery (Oberwesel)

The Jewish Cemetery Oberwesel is a burial place of the Jews from the communities of Oberwesel and Perscheid, established in the 18th century. It is located in today's Rhine-Hunsrück district of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The last burial took place in 1942,[1][2] however, according to Jewish understanding, it would be wrong to speak of an abandoned cemetery.
