Jewish cemetery at the municipal cemetery in Betzdorf

The Jewish burial ground is located within the municipal cemetery on Eberhardystra e    

The municipal cemetery was established in 1920;The municipal cemetery in Betzdorf was established in 1920, and in 1921 a 120 square meter cemetery was set aside for Jewish citizens. 13 graves are still maintained here today by the town of Betzdorf, as there are no longer any relatives of the deceased. Callmann Tobias' gravestone also commemorates his son Dagobert, who died in the First World War and whose name the Nazi district leadership had removed from the list of fallen soldiers on the war memorial in the Rainanlagen park.
