In the houses Im Kreise 22 to 25 lived after 1945 many Jüdische DP.
The guesthouse "Zum Wildgarten" Im Kreise 25 was seized in the spring of 1945 for the British-Jüdische Hilfseinheit im Ausland (JRU) and in the following years also used by the Jüdische Komitee. In 1946, a kosher kitchen was established here. In 1947, the chairman of the Jewish Committee and representative of the Jewish DP community in Celle - Aron Kaufmann - won the transfer of the tavern concession to him. With the Rückgabe of the house to the owner ümerin Reese on August 10, 1950, this Jüdische institution was closed.
