In 1841 the house became the property of the Jewish community, which bought it. From then on it was used as a community center. The Jewish community center developed here. The prayer room was located on the upper floor, and the children were also taught there. In 1844, the teacher Moses Heilbronn was hired. The Jüd. Teachers also had to provide the cantor service. In 1851, the new synagogue was inaugurated, which was built on part of the garden of the community house. In 1881, the Jewish private school was converted into a private school.

The community house was totally renovated in 1923 and the half-timbering was exposed. A Linz family rented part of the community house from the Jewish community. She also took over the care of the neighboring synagogue. In 1936, the Jewish community sold the house because it could no longer hold it financially.
