7. Dec. 2015Alfred Süskind was born in 1885 in Lingen and was for many years head of the Jüdische Gemeinde in Fürstenau. He was married to Sophie Süskind. On November 10, 1938, he was arrested and was imprisoned in the Buchenwald concentration camp. He succeeded in 1939 the escape to the USA, where he died on 20 September 1982.
