Nacher family
In the second half of the 19th century, the Nacher family ran a small store in Iskrzyczyn. The son of the store owner Ignatz (Ignacy) Nacher (1868-1939) made a career in Berlin. He became general director of Engelhardt brewery, which thanks to him became the second largest brewery in Germany.
When Nacher received information üabout a fire in 1910, he sent 1000 marks to the municipality. In a letter to the municipality he wrote that among the victims möght be people with whom the Nachers had contact when they ran the small store in Iskrzyczyn.
