According to the decision of the city council in 1987, it is planned to remove all fixtures in the interior and to restore the synagogue room according to the still existing substance. The building is then to be used as a concert hall. In a publication from 1996 (Krause-Schmitt, v. Freyberg, Wehe, 1995) it is noted that the realization is still pending.
