The Jewish Community of Prichsenstadt was an Israelite religious community in the Lower Franconian town of Prichsenstadt in the district of Kitzingen. There is evidence of Jews in the town as early as the 14th century. The community was persecuted by the National Socialists and the last members were deported in 1942.

The Jewish community of Rehweiler was an Israelite religious community in the area of the present-day Geiselwinder district of Rehweiler in the Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen. The community existed between the 18th century and the year 1911. On the outskirts of the village also existed a Jewish cemetery.

A Jewish community has existed in Straubing since the middle of the 13th century. Despite its eventful and sometimes sorrowful history, it is the center of Jewish life in Lower Bavaria and, with 1,740 members, is still the second largest Jewish community in Bavaria after Munich. Its synagogue is the only remaining one in Lower Bavaria. Therefore, the community area covers the whole of Lower Bavaria, with branches in Deggendorf, Landshut, Passau, Plattling and Vilshofen.
