          Euskirchen iat a small town near Aachen.
Some Jews settled in the town already in the late Middle Ages. Only at the end of the 17th century the Judengasse at the market is mentioned. In 1856 the synagogue was built. <until the Weimar period, the community expanded and counted 250 Köpfe.
The Jews were persecuted, disenfranchised, deported and murdered from 1934. The synagogue was burned down.
