Basalt memorial stele: Under a relief-like representation of the synagogue - inaugurated on September 5, 1875 and destroyed on November 10, 1938 - the stele commemorates 13 deported and murdered Telgte citizens - 11 Jews and 2 Roma children. Their names and the place of their extermination were engraved in the basalt.
