On July 10, 1942, twelve members of the Hirsch, Jacobs, Kohls, Lippers, Mann, Olivenstein and Rosenthal families were deported to Auschwitz from the Jewish community center as part of a nationwide action. The apartment of the Mann family was re-rented to the tailor Kelling.
