Beschreibung
On April 26, 2013, after a long public debate, the forecourt of the Jewish Museum in Berlin was renamed Fromet and Moses Mendelssohn Square. The heated discussion about the naming made it into nationwide media and exposed that female historical figures like Fromet Mendelssohn are still understood mainly as "woman behind the man".
