In 1901, St. Hildegard Hospital in Berlin Charlottenburg began operating as a hospital. Some parts of the building were destroyed in a bombing raid on November 23, 1943. Hospital operations still took place here until 1998. Nowadays, the building is mainly used by Messe Berlin GmbH.
