Beschreibung
Around 1852/53, the Jewish community of Neustadtgödens already built the first free-standing synagogue, a sign of the prevailing self-confidence of the Jews of Neustadtgödens at that time. The synagogue survived both the November pogroms of 1938 and the Second World War almost unscathed, as it became private property in 1936. Thus, it could be reopened as a "Place of Remembrance former synagogue in Neustadtgödens" in 2015.
